  While I was preparing this guide, my thoughts were that I wanted people’s eyes to be opened to the things of God. “For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saidth the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” (Jeremiah 29:11). In my 42 years on this earth, I have experienced tremendous bondage. However, through it all I’ve never lost my faith! As a child, I grew up being sent to church not brought! God has always been my source of comfort, when times got hard because I have known Him from my youth.

  I want people to understand that their struggles are not personal but spiritual. Therefore, it is important to seek first the kingdom of God and his voice so that you have the ability to overcome any struggle. Jesus responded one way to Satan’s temptations in the wilderness with the Word of God (Matthew4:1-10)
