NotesAdditional Info
In A Sojourner’s Truth we are drawn into the journey of a young African American girl from South Carolina to the United States Naval Academy and then into a calling as a speaker, mentor, writer, and teacher.Intertwined with Natasha Sistrunk Robinson’s story is the story of Moses, a leader who was born into a marginalized people group, resisted injustices of Pharaoh, denied the power of Egypt, and trusted God even when he did not fully understand or know where he was going. Along the way we courageously explore the spiritual and physical tensions of truth-telling, character and leadership development, and bridge building across racial/ethnic, socioeconomic, and gender lines.
You are invited to bring along your story as well-to discover your own identity, explore your truth-revealing moments, live unafraid, and gain a deeper sense of purpose.

Mentor For Life
$22.99Today’s Christian women do not simply want nice fellowships and cookie-cutter answers about how to deal with life. Though churches are filled with good ministry programming-activities, outreach events, and an endless selection of options-many churches neglect the fundamental mission of women in the church: making disciples. Christian women today want to mentor and to be mentored. The church must rise to the challenge and develop creative ways of equipping modern women to do this. In Mentor for Life, Natasha Robinson lays a solid foundation for a ministry of mentoring that is based on God’s kingdom vision, challenging women to consider the cost of discipleship and the high calling they have received in Christ. It shows how to develop mentoring relationships that function communally in existing small groups, groups that are diverse and inclusive. It also presents a mentoring framework with a theological focus on knowing and loving God, our identity in Christ, and how to love our neighbor. It also encourages women to think theologically and develop a basic Christian worldview. Filled with examples from Robinson’s experience in the military and business world, this resource gives readers the training they need to disciple others and as a foundation for kingdom service.
