  “The Feast of Enemies” contains twelve reflections or meditations intended for the time prior to the celebration of Holy Communion within the worship service. Such presentations cannot properly be called sermons because of their length and because of their specific aim: that of helping to prepare members of the congregation for participation in the sacred encounter at the Lord’s table. Each of these meditations is based on a scripture text.
