When The World Stops
$15.99WHAT NOW?
When the World Stops is a timely yet timeless message for God’s people that provides practical tools for not only weathering this current crisis, but emerging from it with a strengthened faith and deeper appreciation for the things that matter most. Like a reassuring hand on your shoulder, Dr. Michael L. Brown helps point the way forward for those seeking answers to questions like:
Is this pandemic the final plague talked about in the Book of Revelation?
Are we indeed in the final days before Jesus’ return?
Who or what sent the virus?
How do I balance my family’s needs with the faith to live for Christ in crisis?
Should we submit to the government’s guidelines?
How can I steward my health in a biblical way?
Dr. Brown brings biblically sound and clear answers for staying healthy, living with wisdom, and maintaining your faith. As we move forward with wisdom in the power of the Holy Spirit, we must understand that “the darkness is the divine setup for the light. The sickness is the divine setup for the healing. The current crisis is the divine setup for the church to arise and shine and make a difference. We must seize this moment before it passes. We must milk it to the full, for the glory of God. Does your heart bear witness to my words?”This book will help you see how you can be the hands and feet of Jesus during this world’s dark hour. It provides a God Calibrated compass for the turbulent uncharted-waters we find ourselves in and sifts through the dizzying array of information regarding this current crisis, separating fact from fiction, prudence from pandemonium and faith from fear.

Gentle And Lowly
$19.99Christians know that God loves them, but often think that he is perpetually disappointed and frustrated, maybe even close to giving up on them. As a result, they focus a lot on what Jesus has done to appease God’s wrath for sin. But how does Jesus Christ actually feel about his people amid all their sins and failures? This book draws us to Matthew 11, where Jesus describes himself as “gentle and lowly in heart,” longing for his people to find rest in him. The gospel is primarily about God’s heart drawn to his people, a heart of tender love for the sinful and suffering. These chapters take readers into the depths of Christ’s very heart for sinners, diving deep into Bible passages that speak of who Christ is and encouraging readers with the affections of Christ for his people. His longing heart for sinners will comfort and sustain readers in their up-and-down lives.

Truth About Us
$18.99What would happen if you admitted you weren’t a good person?
It’s a seemingly crazy question. From priests to prisoners, nearly everyone thinks they’re morally better than average. Why change our minds? Why admit the truth about ourselves?
In his conversational, fun-to-read, and delightfully self-effacing style, Brant Hansen shows us why we should fight our drive to be self-righteous: it’s breathtakingly freeing. What’s more, just admitting that we’re profoundly biased toward ourselves and want desperately to preserve our “rightness” at all costs even helps us think better, make better decisions, be better listeners, and improve our relationships with God and others.
Hansen draws from biblical insight and the work of everyone from esteemed social psychologists to comedians to make his point: the sooner we get over ourselves, give up the “I’m good” internal dialogue, and admit the truth, the sooner we can live a more lighthearted, fruitful, fun-loving life.
This book is about the freedom of childlike humility.
After all, as Hansen writes, the humble life is truly your best one.

Thou Shalt Not Be A Jerk
$17.99According to Eugene Cho, Christians should never profess blind loyalty to a party. Any party. But they should engage with politics, because politics inform policies which impact people.
In Thou Shalt Not Be a Jerk: A Christian’s Guide to Engaging Politics, Cho encourages readers to remember that hope arrived–not in a politician, system, or great nation–but in the person of Jesus Christ.
With determination and heart, Cho urges readers to stop vilifying those they disagree with–especially the vulnerable–and asks Christians to follow Jesus and reflect His teachings. In this book that integrates the pastoral, prophetic, practical, and personal, readers will be inspired to stay engaged, have integrity, listen to the hurting, and vote their convictions.
“When we stay in the Scriptures, pray for wisdom, and advocate for the vulnerable, our love for politics, ideology, philosophy, or even theology, stop superseding our love for God and neighbor.”

Now, ten years later, she’s written that book. With raw vulnerability, a deep well of wisdom, and the practical knowledge of someone who’s been there, she walks grieving moms through the life-after-death process from how to plan the funeral to how to deal with friends, family, holidays, and birthdays.

Multicultural Church : Embracing Unity And Restoration
$12.99Despite the progress our country has made in Civil Rights over the past century, Sunday morning is still one of the most segregated times in America. It seems like the only people striving to lead in the area of racial reconciliation are politicians, activists, and celebrities. Pastor Dan Willis wants to know… Where is the church? What can the people of God do to become leaders again and not just be Johnny-come-lately followers? The art of bringing harmony to the masses lies in the love all should see in the church of God. If the church is to make a difference and return to relevance in this world, the only option is multicultural ministry. If leaders are not prepared to minister to this growing culture, then American Christianity is in danger of becoming nonessential to the body of believers. For years, Dan Willis has led a growing, multicuItural Christian community in the suburbs of Chicago. In The Multicultural Church, Dan shares what he has learned, the mistakes he has made, and what can be done to successfully minister to a diverse culture.

Ministry Of Healing
$25.00Classic Christian author A. J. Gordon expresses curiosity about whether the healing miracles from the Middle Ages up to his day can be verified as a continuation of Christ’s Spirit in the church. Through deep study and inquiry of the established history, Gordon concludes that the power to heal followers remains with the church–there was no special era of miracle working. God and His powers remain the same in the modern era as they have right through human history. For Gordon, God’s intervention in the suffering and sickness of His followers is frequent; the will of the Lord however is variable–but He will not prolong the pain of someone whose illness is too great. Throughout this text, A. J. Gordon makes his argument from a biblical perspective, citing passages in both the Old and New Testament that support the continuation of spiritual gifts. Quoting testimonies of believers across the ages, he offers a convincing argument that the church ministry is, to this day, one of healing.

Why Does God Care Who I Sleep With
$16.99Christians are increasingly seen as outdated, restrictive and judgmental when it comes to sex before marriage, cohabitation, homosexuality, gender identity or transgender rights. In fact for many people, this issue is one of the biggest barriers for them considering Christianity.
Sam Allberry, author of many books including Is God Anti-gay sets out God’s good design for the expression of human sexuality, showing that God himself is love and that only he can satisfy our deepest desires.
It is a great reminder of the Bible’s positive blueprint for love, sex and marriage and ideal for giving away to people who may see this as a stumbling block for belief.

Master Of One
$24.00Entrepreneurial pioneer, thought leader, and best-selling author helps you find, focus on, and master the work you were created to do.
We have more options for our work than ever before, leading many of us to spend years dabbling in different jobs, side-hustles, and career paths. This experimentation can be a good thing, but more often than not, it leaves us feeling dissatisfied as a “Jack (or Jill) of all trades, and a master of none.” In this groundbreaking book, Jordan Raynor offers a better way, helping you find and focus on the work God created you to do until you become a master of one.
In his national bestselling book, Called to Create, Raynor established that work is one of our primary forms of ministry. In Master of One, he builds upon that message, using his story-driven, gospel-centric style to make the case that it is through excellent work that we glorify God, love our neighbors as ourselves, and earn the right to be heard by a world thirsty for truth. With stories from Christ-followers such as C. S. Lewis, Emily Ley, Fred Rogers, Cynthia Marshall, and Chip Gaines, this accessible and practical book will reframe your thinking about work, giving you renewed passion and vision to find and master your one thing.

Saints
$19.99Nearly one-third of our world identifies as Christian, yet it feels like confusion, hopelessness, and injustice are the prevailing narratives of our day. This begs the question, Are we missing something?
Surprisingly, the Bible only uses the word Christian a grand total of three times to describe followers of Jesus. But there’s another identifier that fills the pages of the New Testament–a word we’ve mistakenly reserved for the halo-wearing elite, losing something profound in the process.
Saints.
Wrapped in this ancient word is a divine invitation to discover who God created you to be and awaken to the life you were meant to know. Using Scripture and stories from his own experience, Addison makes a compelling case that the life you desire is found in the mystery of this sacred identity.
Our world is waiting for us to reject the smallness of watered-down religion and recover the awe and purpose of following Jesus. Take the dive and become a Saint.

Be True To Yourself
$15.99Our culture tells us that the way to be happy is to be true to yourself. It’s posted on social media, promoted in adverts, taught in schools and, even, expressed in churches. But what does that mean, and does it actually work?
Matt Fuller explores how true happiness, wholeness and freedom can be found in embracing who God has created us to be; allowing ourselves to be shaped by who the Bible says we are, rather than our own fluctuating feelings, or the voices around us. In the process, this book draws on a broad range of fascinating research and examples to give us a fresh biblical take on some of today’s biggest hot-button issues.
By cutting through the confusion and showing us something better, this is a book to help every Christian live with confidence in today’s culture.

Praying Clear Through
$16.99Most believers do not rise to their full privilege in prayer. Successful prayer cannot be rushed. If we want to hear from heaven, we must allow time for God’s voice to successfully break through the din of life. When we have a tremendous amount of work to be done for the day, we dare not leave out prayer. As Martin Luther observed, “I have so much to do that I shall spend the first three hours in prayer.” The real danger in not taking sufficient time to commune with God and implore him for our requests is the resulting slow erosion of the Spirit’s voice, when life’s static distracts a Believer from what is truly important and necessary to a successful life.
In Praying Clear Through, Will Harney demonstrates by examples from his own life that there are vast rewards in store for those who make prayer a top priority. Prayer should not be a chore for the growing Christian but one of the highest privileges accorded us. The author decries the fast pace of his age for crowding out the time of prayer–a century ago. He urges the believer to “pray clear through”– that is, to pray with urgency until he or she hears from heaven.
This book has thirty-three short chapters (5-6 pages each) that bounce from prayer topic to prayer topic–including obedience, the prayer closet, not looking but trusting, and how prayer is the secret to revival. The final chapter is a short guide on how to use prayer to obtain great victories. Contains modern Introduction by Nick Harrison.

10 Commandments Of Progressive Christianity
$7.99A cautionary look at ten dangerously appealing half-truths.
In 1923, J. Gresham Machen, then a professor at Princeton Seminary, wrote his classic text, Christianity and Liberalism. The book was a response to the rise of liberalism in the mainline denominations of his own day. Machen argued that the liberal understanding of Christianity was, in fact, not just a variant version of the faith, nor did it represent simply a different denominational perspective, but was an entirely different religion. Put simply, liberal Christianity is not Christianity.
What is remarkable about Machen’s book is how prescient it was. His description of liberal Christianity–a moralistic, therapeutic version of the faith that values questions over answers and being “good” over being “right”–is still around today in basically the same form. For this reason alone the book should be required reading, certainly for all seminary students, pastors, and Christian leaders.
Although its modern advocates present liberal Christianity as something new and revolutionary, it is nothing of the sort. It may have new names (e.g., “emerging” or “progressive” Christianity), but it is simply a rehash of the same well-worn system that has been around for generations.
The abiding presence of liberal Christianity struck me not long ago when I came across a daily devotional from Richard Rohr that listed ten principles he thinks modern Christianity needs to embody. These ten principles are actually drawn from Philip Gulley’s book, If the Church Were Christian: Rediscovering the Values of Jesus. In that devotional series, ironically titled “Returning to Essentials,” Rohr sets forth the ten principles as a kind of confessional statement of modern liberalism (while at the same time pretending to deplore confessional statements). They are, in effect, a Ten Commandments for progressive Christianity.
Indeed, these ten sound like they were gathered not so much on the mountaintop as in the university classroom. They are less about God revealing his desires and more about man expressing his own–less Moses, more Oprah.
But take note: each of these commandments is partially true. Indeed, that is what makes this list, and progressive Christianity as a whole, so challenging. It is a master class in half-truths that sound appealing on the surface until you dig down deeper and really explore their foundations and implications. Benjamin Franklin was right when he quipped, “Half the truth is often a

Anchors For The Soul
$17.99ANCHOR YOUR FAITH IN THE STORY OF GOD BEFORE-AND DURING-THE STORMS
Drawing on his own experience with losses and tragedies through the death of his young wife and, more recently, the death of his sixteen-year-old son, John Mark Hicks tells the story of God through his own experiences of suffering.
He does not explain suffering because, as he describes, that cannot be done; rather, he walks with sufferers through the valley of loss. He grounds them deeply in the story of God’s love, listening, empathy, sovereignty, and victory. This path is not only for those who seek to persevere in the midst of their suffering but also for those who want to prepare for the suffering that comes to all.
In addition to helping sufferers, John Mark provides guidance for those who want to sit with people who are suffering. He offers advice to help comforters provide comfort. There are no easy answers. Our questions, in fact, are never fully answered. Despite this, however, there is a path of assurance, comfort, and trust that yields perseverance, peace, and hope.
The “anchors” are found in God, who:
*loves us
*listens to us
*empathizes with us
*gives meaning to our suffering
*ultimately triumphs over all sufferingThese anchors ground us in God’s redemptive story.

Rest For The Justice Seeking Soul
$16.99Susan K. Williams Smith is a minister and activist who has been on the front lines of social and racial justice for many years. As she has marched shoulder-to-shoulder to resist systematic oppression, she has heard the same question over and over: “How are we going to get through this?” Rest for the Justice-Seeking Soul was birthed out of those cries.
Here is a soul-care manual for social justice-seeking believers who stand in constant vigilance against all forms of racial, class, and gender oppression. The fight for justice and equality is an exhausting daily grind–and the work is never over. That’s why it is incumbent upon all who speak and advocate for the less fortunate to practice self-care. You can’t fight when your tank is empty.
In response to the many calls and emails she has received from friends, clergy, and strangers who are in utter despair and even deep depression, she has created ninety daily devotions to provide a daily spoonful of hope and encouragement, a healing balm to “strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees” (Hebrews 12:12). Lift your gaze upward toward a better future by allowing God to restore harmony and focus in your soul and justice in your community. Our God is bigger than whoever is oppressing you. As the old hymn states, “Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.”

Jesus In Me
$23.99The internationally recognized Bible teacher and daughter of Billy Graham unpacks key biblical truths wrapped in personal insights to reveal how the presence of the Holy Spirit shapes the daily life of a Jesus follower.
In Jesus in Me, Anne Graham Lotz draws on her rich biblical knowledge as well as her personal story–including her recent cancer diagnosis–to help us understand that the Holy Spirit is not a magic genie, a flame of fire, or a vague feeling. He is a Person who prays for us, guides us in our relationships and decisions, comforts us in pain, and stays by our side at all times. In this seminal teaching, she explores seven key aspects of the Holy Spirit that will revolutionize how you understand and relate to this vital third Person in the Trinity.
As Anne writes, “One of my deepest, richest joys has been discovering by experience who the Holy Spirit is in every step of my life’s journey. Each name that He has been given–Helper, Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor, Counselor, Strengthener, and Standby–reveals another aspect of His beautiful character and has provoked in me a deep love for the One who is my constant Companion…Jesus in me.”

Is Jesus History
$16.99What can we really know for sure about the past? Can anything from ancient history be regarded as ‘fact’? In particular, how seriously can we take the historical sources for the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth? Did he really even live in first-century Galilee and Judaea, or is he a figure of legend?
In this timely book, historian Dr John Dickson unpacks how the field of history works, giving readers the tools to evaluate for themselves what we can confidently say about figures like the Emperor Tiberius, Alexander the Great, Pontius Pilate, and, of course, Jesus of Nazareth.
He presents the evidence, methods, and conclusions of mainstream scholars–both Christian and not–and asks some pertinent contemporary questions, without offering any pushy answers: If Jesus really did exist, what are we to make of his own claims and those of his followers, and what would any of it mean for us today?

The million little pieces that make a life arent necessarily glamorous or far-reaching. But God uses some of the smallest, most ordinary acts of faithfulness and sometimes they look a whole lot like packing lunch.
